First Steps (Первые Шаги)
Students who participate in our First Steps (Zlatoust) classes find that their introduction to Russian is thorough and captivating. Students continue to build on their S.I.L.K. vocabulary foundation. First Steps is aimed at developing beginning language skills in order to communicate in simple circumstances Students learn about parts of speech, declension of nouns, conjugation of imperfect verbs and verbs of motion, expressing time, and cause-and-effect. First Steps is especially designed for non-native speakers interested in learning how to effectively communicate in Russian.
Students who finish this course can be assured that they are well on their way to communicating in a vareity of circumstances and situations. We invite you to come and sit in on one of our First Steps classes to see for yourself how effective the course is.
