S.I.L.K
S.I.L.K. is a language acquisition program designed to give our students the best fundamentals for their language journey. Our program includes interactive methods of learning that allows students of all ages and backgrounds to learn successfully. S.I.L.K. gives students the confidence to enthusiastically participate in class activities and homework. It is because of S.I.L.K. that most of our students are able to continue studying language well even after they graduate from our school.
Upon completion of the foundational S.I.L.K. program students will be ready to continue onto the next level of language learning. Students who complete S.I.L.K. know more than 500 words and 20 sentence/question structures. They are able to ask simple questions that open up the world of language learning to them. S.I.L.K. is not too unlike how we as children learned language. There is a lot of listening and mimicking of the teacher just like young children do with their own mothers. While this may be the simple explanation of how S.I.L.K. works, the system is founded on solid research and best practices in modern language acquisition courses.
